Install Tuka
Download Tuka from tuka.video and drag it to your Applications folder. On first launch, grant Screen Recording and Microphone permissions when prompted.
Your First Recording
Open Tuka from your Applications folder or Spotlight.
Choose a source: Full Screen, Window, or Region.
Click Record or press the global shortcut.
When you're done, click Stop in the menu bar or press the shortcut again.
Quick Edit
After recording, Tuka opens the editor automatically. From here you can:
- Trim the start and end
- Cut unwanted sections
- Add captions with one click
Export
Click Export, choose MP4 or GIF, select your resolution, and hit Export. Your file is ready in seconds.

Use keyboard shortcuts to speed up your workflow. Press ⌘ + E to export directly from the editor.
