Trim & Cut

Remove unwanted sections from your recordings with precision.

Trimming

Trimming removes content from the start or end of your recording.

  1. Open your recording in the editor.

  2. Drag the left handle on the timeline to trim the beginning.

  3. Drag the right handle to trim the end.

Cutting Sections

Cutting removes a section from the middle of your recording.

  1. Click on the timeline where the unwanted section starts.

  2. Press ⌘ + B to split at the playhead.

  3. Move to where the unwanted section ends and split again.

  4. Select the middle clip and press Delete.

The surrounding clips join together with a smooth transition.

Ripple Delete

When you delete a clip, Tuka automatically closes the gap. This is called ripple delete — no manual repositioning needed.

💡

For quick cuts, select a range on the timeline by clicking and dragging, then press Delete to remove the entire selection at once.
